Chris Paul Family Foundation -Community Engagement

One of the great things about sports is that it connects people from all backgrounds and it also provides athletes, teams and brands with a platform to directly impact marginalized communities. This initiative did just that! I worked alongside the Chris Paul family foundation and a brand partner to refurbishment a computer lab at two elementary schools, and the creation of a mind health resource program for the students and families in Watts. From the initial alignment of priorities of the brand and Chris Paul’s foundation, the ideation process, implementation and an on-site “ribbon cutting” event, I lead this initiative that will surely continue to serve that community well beyond the one-day event.
